I am discovering the new feature of Dynamic Links between forms (Dynamic data attachments — KoboToolbox documentation) that represents a huge step forward in terms of functionality for KoboToolBox (in my view ).
I gave a try and it works (watch out that there are some syntax mistakes in the examples of the tuto…), but I am wondering if there is any way to generate a select_one list of choice out of records from the parent form. This would allow the user to select a specific record out of a list and load the corresponding data.
In the example below, I would like to get the list of activity responsibles (which is a free text field and in this case, there are 2 different names) to be able to select one of them (the dynamic link retrieve the first record only).

@vmalep, so you mean that you have a text question in your parent project, and you would like to use the response from that text question as a select_one choice in your child project. Did I understand that correctly? If so, please be informed that this feature is currently not supported. We will let you know once it becomes available.
Honestly, that is why most organization are moving out from Kobo now and are looking at Commcare, ActivityInfo or DHIS2, because this feature allow for case management:
-registering a new participant (with all the identifier as text)
-Following up this participant among different forms of treatment/ participation in projects.
