GPS data accuracy

I have a Kobo form that has a geopoint question. My problem is that in the field it takes too long for smartphones to calculate the coordinates. An exact location isn’t needed for this project.

We were wondering if there is a way to set the accuracy of the GPS location to a greater range. Our logic is that maybe a less precise point would take less for the smartphones to calculate.
