Estoy recolectando datos con varios estudiantes, pero varios de ellos tienen iPhone u otros dispositivos con sistema iOS, y cuando queremos registrar una respuesta de tipo punto geolocalizado, el GPS no arroja ninguna respuesta, ningún mensaje de error, nada, simplemente se queda vacío el campo. ¿Alguna idea para mejorar esto?
P.D. no sucede con todos los dispositivos iPhone, pero con todos los que sucede este error, todos tienen sistema iOS.

It doesn't happen with all iPhones, but all the ones that experience this error all have iOS.
Can you perhaps try to confirm what iOS browser(s) are being used to run Enketo which are seeing this issue (eg Safari, Firefox, Opera, …)
If they are using any browser app (or indeed any app), but haven’t expressly permitted this app to use the iPhone location services [it will ask the first time they try…] then Enketo, and therefore your form, will be unable to acquire a location on that device.
But I understand the Safari is default for ios and chrome is for android, perhaps this is the mistake. What is certain is that my students granted all the permissions for the use of the GPS when open the form.

Correct. Safari is the de facto browser on iOS. However that does not preclude people installing and using other browsers, hence I just wanted to eliminate the possibility.
Another possibility is simply that they are not waiting long enough to obtain a fix (or are filling in the form indoors…). It may also be good to identify is there are specific iOS devices that never submit a GPS coord, even after waiting say 5min to acquire satellites.
