Has anyone used KoboToolbox to collect data for gaming communities or esports events?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been experimenting with KoboToolbox for a small community project related to online gaming tournaments, and I’m curious if anyone here has used it in a similar way.

Right now I’m mainly using forms for player registrations, match feedback, and collecting reports from participants during community events. So far it works pretty well, especially on mobile, but I’m wondering if there are better ways to structure forms when you have a lot of repeat submissions coming in quickly.

@tahirmehmoodkhokha, you should be able to learn more about KoboToolbox through our support article here.

I’ve only used KoboToolbox for small community projects, but I can see it working well for gaming events too. One thing that helped with repeat submissions was keeping the forms short and using validation rules to reduce mistakes. Breaking longer forms into sections also made them easier for participants to complete on mobile. I’d be interested to hear if anyone has found other tips for handling larger tournaments or frequent match reporting.
