Help! Data Deleted from Projects - Seeking Recovery Solutions

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to the community as we’ve encountered a critical issue with our KoboToolbox account. Today, several of our projects were accidentally deleted, including data collected in April 2025.

A quick search says that data deleted can not be recovered. Apologies, if this is something that came up previously and new here.

Has anyone else experienced something similar? If so, could you kindly share what steps or solutions worked for you in recovering deleted projects or data?

We would greatly appreciate any guidance on how to restore the deleted projects or retrieve the data, ideally in an XLS format or any other available format.

  • Username
  • Email ID registered with the account
  • Server

Maybe we could quickly scan our system’s trash to see if there are any traces of your deleted projects.
