How do I collect GPS points or use the map feature?

I’m trying to get a GPS question to work reliably in my KoBoToolbox form, but some of my data collectors are having issues with it. Sometimes the GPS takes a long time to get a fix, and other times the location is just wildly inaccurate. I’ve already set the question up, so I’m looking for practical advice. Do you have any tips or best practices for ensuring accurate and fast GPS data collection in the field? What have you found works well to troubleshoot common GPS problems?

  1. You can limit the gps accuracy :: Data with GPS <5m accuracy should only be allowed to be submitted to the server

  2. You can add geopoint metadata that will pick gps on the background

  3. Make sure all gps are collected at the point where the sky is open

4.Make sure you are not moving when the gps is capturing

  1. Set your devices to High Accuracy in location setting of Android
