I can't get forms for kobocollect (Erro de acesso a disco)

My team of census takers are unable to download the forms created on the “KoboCollect” device. I have already made several attempts to fix the error, but without success. I entered the xls validator (ODK - XLSForm Online) and removed some questions that presented errors. I uploaded xls again and no error appeared, I made it available in the app and “download failed” continued to appear.

I have also updated the app and reduced the pixel size in questions that have a photographic record. Likewise, the message “A disk access error occurred while downloading this form. If the problem persists, inform the person who asked you to collect the data.”

What can I do to repair the data?

Yes, I can’t import blank forms into the app.

@joaoveras, would you mind sharing a screnshot from your app’s configuration from under the Settings>Server? The screenshot should help us troubleshoot your issue.

@joaoveras, there is a typo in the URL you have used. Try using https://kc.kobotoolbox.org instead of using https://kc.kobotoolbox.org/

The / you have used is not needed at the end. Fix this and it should solve your issue.

@Kal_Lam I changed the server url to https://kc.kobotoolbox.org and the error continues to persist. I can download the other blank forms normally, it’s only this one that I have this problem with. I forward the screenshot of the error.


@joaoveras, what does the error message read? Did you have a chance to validate the XLSForm through this online validator to see if there are any syntax issues there?

@Kal_Lam The error message says “A disk access error occurred while downloading this form. If the problem persists, inform the person who requested data collection.” I have already tested xls in the online validator, no syntax problems appear

@joaoveras, is this an issue with only a single device? Has this issue occurred on other devices too?

@joaoveras, I downloaded your project as XLSForm and then uploaded the same XLSForm to my account and could get the blank forms to my Collect Android App without any issue.

Maybe try making your project name a bit short to see if that works (for you). Once, its renamed to a bit shorter name, remove the sharing permissions and re-assign the permissions again if the projects are not displayed in the shared accounts.

Let me know what happens. I could then troubleshoot your issue again.
