Indefinite processing time for downloading data from server (Global KoboToolbox Server)

Dear community,

I have been downloading with no issues my data. Since yesterday I am not able to download the data

Any suggestion on what should I do? I have seen from other posts that xls (legacy) is recommended. In the dropdown menu I have in fact selected xls.

Any support is appreciated (available for dm too)

I have also tried with xls(legacy) but even there i get a very long waiting time with no result

There may still be issues with ‘XLS’ export after today’s update. Can you please try using the ‘XLS (legacy)’ instead to see if that works for you in the interim while we work on it.

This does appear to be working.

It has been producing the export for some 10 minutes now.

Anyways, if some server maintenance is going on it makes sense to experience some temporary inability to download I guess.
I there a tentative time for the xls functionality to be back?

wrt above XLS (legacy)… did you hit the ‘Pending… Click to refresh’ ?

Yes Gareth, I land refreshed and clicked on refresh..still pending :frowning:

spoke too early..now the dowload is there

Hopefully the xls will be back in, as the code to process the data is all based on the xls export
