Check the database server or contact your database administrator. Make sure the external database is available, and then try the operation again. If you see this message again, create a new data source to connect to the database.

Hi @mandar,

Could you kindly share with us the link you used to query. Maybe we could help you out it there is any issue with it.

Besides, you could also have a look at our support article Pulling Data Into Excel Power Query to learn more if you have missed out any steps accidentally.

Have a great day!

this link always works, only this time it is showing issue

Hi @mandar,

Well there are two things that you will now need to ensure:

  • If you wish the link https://kc.humanitarianresponse.info/api/v1/data/391759.xls to work at any time you will need to make your data public.
  • Else, you will need to login to your user account and then make a query to get it work.

Have a great day!

After getting logged in only, i had pulled data through query, is there some other issue regarding that.

Hi @mandar,

Have you tried making it public?

Have a great day!

yes, still its showing similar problem

Hi Mandar,
I would suggest repeating the process of sharing the data publicly again. If you put the link your browser, it should download the data directly; that is always a quick check to see that. I would also suggest you recheck your specific steps.
