Is there a maximum number of questions in one form?

Hi All,

I wante to have one single form with many question.
Is there a maximum amount of questions that can be combined?
If I combine two perfectly working XLS files with each 1000 different questions and column names, into one single XLS file it gives an error when previewing “* JSON.parse: unexpected character at line 1 column 1 of the JSON data”.

I have tried this using diffent questions that are are ok, still gives me the same unexpected error. Hence I assume there is a maximum on the number of questions (and subsequently the number of columns in the submitted data and to be downloaded) in one form?
If that is the case, what is the maxium number of questions/names (column) in a form?

@DaanVelthausz, maybe this post discussed previoulsy should help you solve your issue:

@adminpro, yes it affects the loading when you have a long list of questions or choices in your survey project. Please be informed that the web server only allows each request to take 120 seconds. And if a form is not able to load even within this 120 seconds your forms do not get deployed/loaded. You could thus solve this by either trying to collect your data through Collect android app or build your survey project using an external select (if you have a long list of choices).
