The problem is that the values and translations went missing after the edits were made. As a result, I am unable to redeploy the project or download the XLS file

@asha24, could you kindly share with me the project name and it’s asset ID so that I could have a closer look at it? Please do not share with me the list of entire projects. I just want to have a look at a single project that you are having this issue. This should give me a clue of what is not working or going wrong.

@asha24, there are a couple of things I see you should fix in your project:

You may need to update the language codes and delete Labels (l1) which is not a language. So for this, I recommend you download your project as XLSForm and then update the same under the survey, choices and settings tab.
Once you fix them in the XLSForm, you will need to upload them back to the project and redeploy to make the changes effective.

If needed, you could also clone the correct version of your survey form from under the form history as shown in the screenshot below:
