Kobo and QGIS/ESRI

My client has asked me to investigate the option of using Kobo Toolbox with QGIS/ESRI ArcPro etc. I use both extensively, however while I cannot locate anything specific for ESRI, I have been able to locate the KoboToolBox FieldBridge and QRealTime plugins.

The objective for my client is that the survey is able to be captured in field, realtime and/or offline, then spatially displayed with all attribute information being linked to each respondent, whether point, line or polygon, as well as being able to report in a friendly manner, the respondents responses from the Kobo sofware (GIS too, if possible).

Is someone able to provide some details on my query and some sample data / examples that I may be able to attempt to generate a demo for them? I need to understand what is required on my side (GIS) and how to best allow them to prepare the survey to enable seamless reporting of both quantitative and qualitative responses, and where the former, representation of statistics and graphs too.

Thanks.

Welcome to the community, @nmb100! Have you had a look at this post discussed previously? It should give you some idea on your requirement:

Thanks for your reply. I will review and revert if I have any more queries. Cost may become a factor for my clients though with Kobo as I already have an ESRI license and can make use of Survey123/Forms as well. I will need to understand the costing model of Kobo more as I investigate further, especially whether a field surveyor needs to have a license or not, or whether it is only me, who would create the survey in Kobo, is required to.

Cheers.
