Hello Cecilia
Normally the time it takes to load is dependent on several other factors like the form size and complexity in terms of skips and validations. I also noticed that depending on the number of tabs open on your browser the loading is always slower. I have however been successful in running complex surveys that at times take a whole minute to load.
Also I noticed that most of the time when you edit off the kobotool box e.g. on notepad then it takes longer to load and may fail ( not a Kobo problem from experience but a probable syntax issue in the off kobo editing).

Cecilia,
Were you able to find your log in after Patrick’s advice? As he said, the
log in is local, so it is specific to your browser and your computer. This
is so that you can use the application offline as well as online. Let us
know how you made out.

Hello Neil,
On my home computer, which is a MAC, it works fine. But on my work computer
(a PC), using firefox, online and/or offline, that login function does not
want to work! It hasn’t stopped me from going ahead but it’s strange?
Loading and saving from file takes a bit of time (up to 30 seconds before
the window pops up). Can I do anything to change that?
To be continued!
Cecilia

Hello,
Trying out the KoBo tools before deploying them in the field. Here comes my
first problem… On the KoBoForm Designer, I signed up to create a log in
user name and password to be able to save my forms to the browser. It worked
that first time. However, impossible to log back in later. It seems I have
to create a new log in everytime I open KoBoForm (v 1.0.26). Has anyone
experienced this problem? I save my form to file without any problem.
Many thanks
Cecilia

I created a form on Kobo Form (the online version), saved it to an xml
file, and copied that into my tablets /odk/forms directory (which is on the
actual tablet, not an SD card, if that makes a difference). But when I try
to load the form on the tablet, I can’t find it. I tried searching for the
answer in the User Guide, but it didn’t seem to have anything besides "put
it in the forms directory and it will magically appear in the app." Any
help is much appreciated! I’m on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2.0 7" running
Android 4.1.1 (Jelly Bean).
