I’d like to know if there are any plans in place to have Kobocollect update itself automatically should there be an update published on a questionnaire? Can a message alert be sent to the device notifying the user of this update?

Kindly please be informed that the KoBoCollect android app now is able to automatically update the form once a survey project (questionnaire) is updated and redeployed in the KoBoToolbox server. Follow the instructions outlined below to active the feature in KoBoCollect android app:
- Open
KoBoCollectandroid app. - Press
General Settings.
- Press
Form management.
- Select
Periodic form updates check.
- Select an appropriate option that best suits you.
- Then finally check
Automatic download.

I want to configure automatic form update in kobo collect. when the blank form update mode is manual, automatic update frequency is disabled. I have two other choices in the blank form update drop down: Forms on this device and forms on the server. Which one to choose in order to choose the frequency?
