Kobocollect Background Audio recording data missing

Description

background Audio recording feature is flaky the recording sometime there sometime is not

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start recording an interview/voice message, the blue bar indicator is moving
  2. Almost complete the recording not yet press the validate or draft buttons
  3. Navigate back multiple times to review or edit (this also happens without pressing back multiple times)
  4. Finalize and send the recording

Expected behavior

The audio should be saved and sent successfully with the voice/audio intact

Actual behavior

After finalizing and sending, the audio/voice was lost or disappeared from the recording

this was tested using android phone with the latest kobocollect v2025.2.3 in global kobotoolbox server

Description

after almost 1k of submitting forms using kobocollect we get 1 submiision that is missing in when we check in kobotoolbox table but in the kobocollect it said successful.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. fill forms
  2. send it, get successful message from kobocollect
  3. the entry is not there

Expected behavior

The data must be there in kobotoolbox table

Actual behavior

the data is not there in kobotoolbox table

this was tested using samsung phone with the latest kobocollect v2025.2.3 in global kobotoolbox server

yes, all the data including the uploaded file like photo is there.
