Description

KoboCollect does not work with the field type “file”

Steps to Reproduce

  1. add a field with type “file” to your form
  2. deploy the form
  3. download the form with KoboCollect

Expected behavior

I expected to see a button that let’s me pick the file.

Actual behavior

Instead, I get a normal text input field (like type “text”)

Tested on:

  • KoboCollect 1.14.0a
  • Tablet/Android 8 OR Phone/Android 5

Hi
Unfortunately this feature does not with the current version of KoBoCollect. However you can also be able to configure ODKCollect to work with the KoBoToolBox and you get this feature included.
