I am using Chrome on the “research and others” instance, and also cannot update or add permissions. I had the debugger break on all exceptions. It looks like the issue is line 1299 in raven.js during the post to https://kf.kobotoolbox.org/permissions/
The error is: “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 500 ()”
