What is the general goal of the feature?
Load the interface more quickly in low-bandwidth environments in the field to allow using the tool effectively (ideally <1MB to load within about a minute at 56kbps). Actual low time is often slower than artificial throttling due to lost packages and varying effective speed.
Background
At the moment the first load of the page is 1.7MB, which can take several minutes in a very bad connection. After a full load cache will speed up additional page requests, but just getting the first load can be slow or impossible depending on the quality of the connection.
What are the most likely user stories for how and when this would be used by someone on your team?
- As an admin user, I’d like to quickly access the page to generate a new export and download the XLS/CSV file
- As an admin user, I’d like to get to and the Auto Report page as quickly as possible
