Hello Kobo Community,
I’m trying to export and then delete all media files (photos) from a project because they are too large and significantly increasing our storage costs.
I attempted to follow the Media Download API guidance shared here:
https://community.kobotoolbox.org/t/media-download-api/64428/2
However, I do not have the technical background to use the Kobo API or write code.
I need a way to export all photos directly from the KoboToolbox web browser interface to my work computer, without using API scripts or command-line tools.
Is there a straightforward browser-based method to:
-
Download all media files in bulk
-
Ensure the files are safely stored locally
-
Then delete them from the server to reduce storage usage
If bulk export is not available through the browser, what is the simplest step-by-step method you would recommend for non-technical users?
Thank you in advance for your help.
