Hello Kobo Team,
I would like to request two enhancements for form media file management in KoboToolbox.
1. Sorting Media Files
Currently, when uploading multiple media files (e.g., CSV, images, audio) for a Kobo form, the files appear without a way to control their order. This makes maintenance difficult when there are many files.
Proposed Feature:
- Add an option to sort media files in the Media section.
- Sorting options:
- Ascending (A–Z / oldest to newest)
- Descending (Z–A / newest to oldest)
Benefits:
- Easier to find specific files in large lists.
- Improves organization and reduces risk of mistakes.
2. Delete Confirmation Popup
Currently, clicking delete removes a file immediately without a clear warning about which file is being deleted.
Proposed Feature:
- Show a confirmation popup when deleting a media file.
- Popup text example:
“Are you sure you want to delete<file_name>?” - This would prevent accidental deletions and ensure the correct file is being removed.
