Backing up with the post you had made regarding the same (for further clarification).

Validate permissions greyed out

I want to add validate permissions to a user in my project and that check box is greyed out, along with the ‘edit and delete’ checkbox. How do I assign this survey manager the ability to edit and validate data entered by his team of enumerators, and only his team.
