Not able to share the project

Dear Madam/Sir,

Shared project is not seen in kobo collect. The shared projects are visible in the web version but not in the Kobo collect.

I have done the following from the owner account, still not able to share:

  1. Gave permission to edit form/ edit submission
  2. Checked the ‘Require authentication to see forms and submit data’ from account setting.

Please help me in resolving the same.

Thank you
Seema

Hi @Seema welcome back.

Can you share a screenshot of the error you are getting?
Did you set the server connection correctly?

Hello @hakan_cetinkaya,

Thank you for the quick revert.

I have set the kobo collect and ODK collect as per the instruction given in the artical.

There is no error displayed while sharing the project. I can see the shared project in the web version. But not visble in the collect/ app version.

Thank you
Seema

Hi @Seema,

Can you tell which server are you using?

@Seema seems like the project shared with you only had view submission access. With this permission, you will not get the blank form in your app. So if you wish to get the blank form to the app, you will need to request your admin owner to share it with add submission access. You could also check this sharing permission under your SETTINGS>Sharing.

Dear @Kal_Lam,

Thank you for your reply.

I have tried by giving all the permission as well. But still it is not working.

If this is the case, maybe you will need to check the URL settings in the app. In this case, make sure your team configures the app as outlined in the post shared previously by @hakan_cetinkaya:

Dear @Kal_Lam,

Thank you for the reply. I have used the following url:
url: KoBoToolbox
username: fesbbsr

We are able to use the forms created in this log in. But not the one which is shared.

Regards
Seema

@Seema, could you configure your URL settings as …

URL: https://kc.humanitarianresponse.info
Username: fesbbsr
Password: xxxxxxx

Instead of setting as …

URL: https://kc.humanitarianresponse.info/fesbbsr
Username: fesbbsr
Password: xxxxxxx

This should solve your issue!
