hello @Kal_Lam ,

Is there any observation from you? I am so worried about this.
Pls response and help me in this matter.

Hi,

Row count of Downloading Data: 14235 which matches with the result showing in red circle.

But does not match with number of submission.

Can anyone help me in this matter?

@asif_rahman_joy, could you provide me the following through a private message? Maybe I could have a closer look at your case.

  • Username
  • Project name
  • Server

You should be able to send me a private message as outlined in the post discussed previously:

Hello @asif_rahman_joy,
There was a similar issue in an old posting,
see https://community.kobotoolbox.org/t/having-issues-with-submission-counter/20666
Did you do edits/deletes on this data set?

Hi @wroos ,

Yes, I do edit / delete on this data set because our enumerators entry a lot of duplicate /wrong data at the time of submission. I clean accordingly as there is edit/delete option.

Hi @asif_rahman_joy, please note that the issue has been resolved and that it was merely an incorrect cached count and not missing data :+1:

Hi Josh,

Hope you are fine.

This problem was solved earlier.
But it happened again. What I have found is:

  1. I have deleted a large number of data from this specific form.
  2. Data is safe. Only data count is mismatching. Downloaded data is greater than data count showing in top-right corner.
  3. In this form, I have to delete data from time to time. So if you suggest that this is not any issue only a count query mismatch then I would not be worried next time.

Thanks in advance for your cooperation.

Hi @asif_rahman_joy,

It is strongly suggested that you shouldn’t share your username in a public forum

Ups… sorry… Can I delete the information now?
Or can u hide it? pls?

There is an edit button below your post which looks like a pencil, that’ll allow you to edit

Thank you for confirming @asif_rahman_joy! We will get back to you soon!

Hi @asif_rahman_joy, I have resynced the submission counter, but as noted before it does not reflect any missing data :slightly_smiling_face:

Thanks again.
Yes, I have also found there is no loss of data.
And it happens when I do “delete multiple submission” at a time.
I did it twice in last 4 months.

Again thank you and the core team for supporting us.
