I loaded my xlsxform but i can not preview, the sreen take forever loading preview. Also i see statement like “ there are more than on survey elements named meta (case insensitive) in the section named”
Hi @agroforestry, welcome to the community. This issue usually appears when there’s a problem in the form structure — specifically when the XLSForm contains duplicate names.
In your case, the error indicates that more than one question or group is named meta (including variations like Meta, META, etc.).
To fix it:
- Download your project as an XLSForm.
- Open the survey sheet and search for
metain the name column. You should see that this name appears twice. - Rename the second occurrence so that each name in the form is unique.
- Save the file and upload it back to KoBoToolbox.
- Redeploy the form — this should resolve the issue.
I also recommend validating your XLSForm using the online validator to catch any additional structural issues.
