KoboToolbox has become an important platform for digital data collection, monitoring, evaluation, accountability, learning, research, and field reporting. Over time, several projects and forms have been created in the Kobo account to support different programmes, partners, sectors, districts, and reporting needs.
However, as the number of projects continues to increase, it has become increasingly difficult for users to quickly locate the correct form, distinguish active tools from old or archived tools, identify which forms belong to which programme, and manage access effectively. This creates delays in data collection, increases the risk of using outdated forms, and affects overall data .
I propose improving the layout and organisation of Kobo projects by categorising them into clear folders, tags, or folder-like groupings based on programme, sector, partner, year, project status, and data collection purpose.
