Pull up select one options from external sheet with choice filter

Hey there!

I am new as XLSForm developer. I need to design a form where I have to put cascade select options. I am putting all the data as preloaded, the form hangs up because data is too long.

So I want to put external file (.csv) where I put my data and want to carry in select options on last question answer.

Can anyone help me?

Please be informed that the select_one_from_file should work with both your Web Form as well as Collect android app. Maybe you should also be able to see a workaround discussed previously here: As an alternate, you could also use the select_one_external to cascade your long list of choices as outlined in the post discussed previously:
