Most widgets are available in Koboform. The exception are the grid widgets
These can be coded by hand if needed.

well koboform is open source so It would bo more interesting if some update could be done at Koboform. creating the code by hand will become like difficult for people here. I’m the only one developer here. and I am the only one who know something about XML. I need a good form builder to do this on ODK COllect.!

We do add features as regularly as we are able, and will eventually support all types of questions. For the moment, we support 95% of the question types. Do you have a particular request? We can file it as a feature request. In fact, since we are open source, you can file a feature request for anything on the code site at: http://code.google.com/p/kobo/

And to add to Anderson’s question, WHAT is the maximum size (length) for a question (ie. “How many people live here?”) in KoboCollect? If I enter a question which has a long explanation, how big can it be? I’ve been looking for the answer else where. A client mentioned they tried another tool to create a survey and the question they entered was shortened in the final output – to something where the context of said question loses meaning.

KoBoCollect will let you enter any length. However, if you are pushing your data to ODK Aggregate, Default max length is 255 characters, but you can customize this. There are some instructions here.
