How can I resolve this. The user is online but keeps getting this error.
Basically thisi s what is technically happening to you;
- You filled a form in KoBo web (browser).
- When you pressed Submit, your device had no stable internet (or temporary server delay).
- Instead of losing the data, Enketo keeps it in a queue.
- As long as the browser page remains open, it will try to send the record every 5 minutes until it succeeds
whats to do;
Make sure you have a stable internet connection.
Keep the form submission page/tab open until the queued record is sent.
You’ll see confirmation: “Your submission has been received.”
If you close the page before upload finishes → the record may be lost.
Reccomendation:
If you have budget and you are working on place where the internet connection is slow; i would suggest you use the KOBO/ODK Collect App. This store data in the local storage . This is way more safer than web
Normally, local data only get lost if you clear the browser cache. See Troubleshooting Enketo Web Forms — KoboToolbox documentation.
Sometimes it actually happens when the user is online and with good internet
Well am not sure on what exaclty might be the problem. Does it send after waiting ?
