*When accessing the collected data in the table view, the column for data of birth is presumably what the respondent entered. However, when viewing the submission record of each respondent, the date of brith displayed is 1 day earlier.
This is a very odd behaviour and consistent across my data set. Now the question is, how is this possible? why is this happening and which is the true value recorded by the survey respondent?
Are there other data formats affected as well?
I feel I cannot trust Kobot Toolbox if this data alterations keep happening.
It seems it is related to your computer time zone settings, if you are in another time zone the dates in the “view” form menu seems to change. Right now I don’t have any more information in the issue but will look into it in detail.
