Repeat group - HH names unshown

Hi friends,

I created repeated groups in Kobo to collect household member data: main respondent, family members aged ≥16, 5–15, and ≤5 years.

The issue is that when I export the dataset from Kobo as Excel, only the main family member sheet shows names. The other sheets show age, gender, etc., but no names. However, we did enter each household member’s name and details during data collection.

Could you please guide me on how to properly download/export the data or how to fix this issue?

Hi @Chasy,

Can you check the advance option under the download tab? Maybe you forgot to choose this question so that it is not reflected in the downloaded files?

@Chasy, if you’re still having trouble locating the name column you collected, which isn’t appearing in your downloaded data, could you please send me the following details in a private message? I would be happy to take a closer look at your situation.
