Hi there,

I wanna change required message from this field is required to another custom message. Can I?

Ex: if I don’t answer the question, it must be display top up message “this fields is required”. Can I change that?

Hi Rani,

You can do that if you export your form to XLS and add a column called ‘required_message’ to your spreadsheet. Then in the line that contains your question just add the custom message in that column that you’d like to add. Then save the spreadsheet and upload it back to your KoBoToolbox account.

Note that ‘required_message’ currently only works in KoBoCollect, but not in Enketo Web forms.
