REST service API subfields not working

Dear Kobo community,

I’ve created a project on the EU Server. I’ve created a REST service API to connect with our own calculation model. However, when I try to add a subset field, the REST service doesn’t save the field, neither by pressing “Enter” or “Tab”. For previous projects we didn’t have any issues.

Welcome to the community, @lanaliem! Could you share a screenshot of which field is not working? That should give us an understanding of your issue pictorially.

I’m experiencing the same issue. Please check the following GIF:

Hi @Kal_Lam,

I realized the same thing yesterday, i wanted to use the select fields subset but it doesn’t accept and value, even it doesn’t allow you to copy paste to this field. I think there is problem in that field

I’m facing the same issue, it appears that its a backend issue. I’ve contacted support, fingers crossed it gets fixed in the near future. It’s very useful for inter-org projects, helps not oversharing.

Welcome to the community, @ukraine_crisis! Could you kindly share with us a screenshot of what is not working? We could then strat investigating the issue.

@osmanburcu, is the issue still not resolved?

Sure thing, here it is. When I press enter, nothing happens, nor does it work with any other field or subset of fields

Hi @Kal_Lam, problem is still continue, it did not solve

This is still not working, anyone have any workarounds to suggest?

Hey guys, how is the investigation going? Any luck so far? Regards

Same challenge here

@Kal_Lam

Was this issue ever addressed or fixed?

It won’t save, it won’t paste, typing and tab/enter to save doesn’t work either. It simply either moves you to the next field or saves the form.

Hi everyone,

This problem is still in the server, but i would like to share a workaround with you. The bug in the kobo appears to be visual bug only, if you follow the video and do HTTP request, it is working fine
