Retrieving Labels instead of xml values when linking excel with kobo including options labels

Hi and good afternoon.
I have linked kobo with excel, and when refreshing excel, the XML values are downloaded. I would like to download the labels of choices rather than their XML values. I navigated different solutions but was not able to do so, I would appreciate it if you could kindly help me on how to do this.
