The goal would be to allow someone looking at the data on the server to send the specific form (instance) back to the user to correct some error on it. This may be useful when working from a quality control perspective.

Is it possible to send back records from the server to kobo collect to allow filed data teams to make edits (data quality control)? or can I review the data before it’s finally posted to the server.

Not remotely, but you can also review on the server and edit before you make it final.
