Server Error 500 - Cannot access media files - Internal Server Error

Hello KoboToolbox team,

I am experiencing a Server Error 500 when trying to access media files in my KoboToolbox account.

Error Message: “Internal Server Error (500) - An error occurred while processing your request”

Problem Details:

  • Error occurs when accessing media file URLs

  • I can log in normally, but media files are inaccessible

  • Problem persists for several hours

What I’ve tried:

  • Refreshing the page multiple times

  • Different web browsers

  • Checking internet connection

  • Waiting and retrying later

Request: Please help me resolve this media file access issue as these files are important for my data collection work.
