My colleagues are unable to open photos uploaded via the questionnaire. They are receiving a “500 server error” message when trying to access them. However, I can open the photos without any issues.
Could you please check what might be causing this and help resolve the problem?
@soeungi, your colleague should be able to view the images from the server if and only if you make your data public as outlined in this community post discussed previously:
Please also be informed that you were able to view the images without any issue because you were logged into the server and you were opening the media files/attachments with the same browser where you logged in to your account. If your team had also logged into the account and tried to access the media/attachment then he/she should have also been able to view the image/media attachment without any issue.
This does not solve my problem. My team of 30 people is using the same account. 10 of them cannot open the photos due to this error, even though they are using the same account as the other 20 people who have no issues opening the photos.
Yes. They conduct the survey through the browser. Then we export the survey and provide them with links to the photos I receive during the export. They log in again from the same browser, but the photos don’t open. They logged out and logged back in, but the issue persists.
@soeungi, are they able to login to the admin account from where the project was deployed? If yes, then they should be able to view the photos when they are still logged into the account from the same server. If no, then you will need to make the project public so that they can view the photo even without logging into the account/project.
