Setting up an Android phone via QR code to collect data from a form designed on KOBO

Une fois, le formulaire conçu sur kobo, est t-il possible de parametrer le téléphone android via code QR, pour la collecte des données ? Comment retrouver le code QR du formulaire sur Kobo

is it possible to configure the Android phone via QR code for data collection? How can I find the QR code for the form on Kobo?

Yes it is, but you first have to enter the server and account details manually in a phone; ie this information:

Once you have done this on your phone, you can then navigate to the corresponding QR code for your account in KoboCollect’ under the ‘Settings’ → ‘Project management’ → ‘Reconfigure with QR code’ → ‘QR Code’

This will give you the QR Code for your server and account, which you can then screenshot/save/scan with any other devices that you want to login to this account with.

:warning: This QR Code contains your account number and password, so anybody with a little know-how can readily decode it. So please treat this QR Code just as you would writing down or sharing your account password!

Alternatively, if you dont want to have KoboCollect generate the QR Code for you, then you can also create one yourself by just knowing the server URL, account name, password, plus whatever additional custom settings you might wish to set in KoboCollect. There are instructions how to do this here: Settings QR codes - ODK Docs

Once you have the compressed Base64 encoded JSON string, there are any number of free online tools that will convert this string into a QR Code image for you; eg https://www.qr-code-generator.com/
