Skip logic doesn't work in new groups

Hello community!

I hope you can help me with some skip logic issues within groups. I programmed in xls, but prefer not to upload the full xls in public. So here are a few screenshots, highlighting the challenge. The form or xls check do not give me any errors. In the settings I have the allow_choice_duplicates set to yes. Any ideas what could be the problem? Thank you!

My survey design has multiple choice question for the topics. Each topic is then its own group. We hope to add more topics over time. Since I can only add one picture, I added all screenshots in one.
