Hi @hamuza_kavuma, it seems there is a constraint in the question. Are you the admin of the project? If we can see the question in XLS form or Form Builder, we can help you to solve it.

Dear Hakan, Yes I am one of the admins of the project and its me who designed it. Waiting for your support
@hamuza_kavuma did you use Kobo Form Builder or xls form directly to design the form?

Can you go to your form, click on edit in form builder, find your question, click on settings, click on validation criteria and share the screenshot with us in here?

It appears you may have inadvertently pressed the [+ ADD A CONDITION] button when creating your form. So it has added in a default constraint which says the value of the question must equal <blank>, so that’s exactly what its doing: if you enter any text it will violate the constraint! 
eg
If you don’t actually want a constraint on this question then just delete the constraint that was (inadvertently?) added with the trashcan button.
