Submission Failed: Unknown submission problem on data server (409)!

Hello all,
I have 64 forms on KoboToolbox that I’ve been editing without issues for the past 5 months. However, I recently encountered a problem. I was able to edit the first four forms, but after that, I started receiving the following error for the rest of them:
Submission Failed: Unknown submission problem on data server (409).
I’ve tried several troubleshooting suggestions I found on the community page, but none of them worked. Could anyone please assist me with this issue?

I’ve been experiencing issues with my forms for over a month now with Submission Failed: Unknown submission problem on data server (409)!.
Despite sending numerous emails and messages, I have yet to receive any meaningful response. This level of customer service is unacceptable, and I can no longer continue using this platform.
While I initially found KoboToolbox to be a creative tool with strong potential, the lack of support has been deeply disappointing. I hope this message serves as valuable feedback for anyone considering investing in KoboToolbox.

I tried to explain for a month that I don’t know how to share it via private message! Can you please just let me know if this issue is going to get fix or not, so I can find another way. My project deadline is in a month, and I need to know now that if I can work with the Koboforms I have already filled.

Just click on the username you want to send message to, then on the right you’ll see a message button. Click on it. You’ll send a message.


i have also the same problem.

Don’t waste your time here. They don’t know how to fix this bug and just waiting for a random person to find the solution and propose it here! I waited almost two months for a single help and there was none. Best is to change the platform you are working on or if you have to stick to Kobo for now, make the whole forms once again and hope that it doesn’t happen to you again.
