Survey form not able to preview (shows error message)

I have an xls form i created using ODK. i have tried uploading same form to kobo collect but it showed an error " cascading_select farmer" so i changed it to ‘select_one’ which was able to upload but then it cant generate preview of the form. Thank you

Welcome back to the community! Could you kindly explain why you created a separate sheet named cascades?

Maybe your xlsform should work smoothly if you could adjust the same to choices tab.

In ODK cascades sheet worked fine. it a list of predefined information on farmers we already inerviewed, and will like to use that information again… And i already have a choices tab there already. if i create a second choices sheet wont it interfere with already existing one?

Maybe if you wish to use a cascading select with an external file you could follow the instructions discussed in our previous post (this should solve your issue):
