I uploaded a script which contain 5 different languages - English, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, and French. After the data collection, I tried to download the dataset in label to see what has been done. However, I noticed the dataset was downloaded in figure or numerical format instead of label.
At the value and header format heading, I could not find label under the column. Please is there any alternative ways to achieve this?
Thank you so much for you feedback. I appreciated it greatly.
However, the issue I have now is that I am unable to download the dataset in label format even when I select English for download. It appears in value instead of pre-coded options.
Can you elaborate on this one? Maybe if you can share some screenshots of what do you mean by this? What were you trying to achieve and what is not happening right now?
This is what I mean by pre-coded option, at the choice tab, it contains list_name, name, and label. Under the name, it is designed with a value such as 1,2,3, etc. At the label, i specified what each value stands for. For instance, 1 - radio, 2- television, 3-newspaper etc.
So, when downloaded, the dataset appears in value (1,2,3) instead of text. That’s, radio, television, newspaper.
Instead of text, the value appears. Please find below the screenshot:
I see your point now Thank you for the screenshot.
I’m assuming your question is select_many. In this help article, it shows you what are the options to export select_many questions in the advanced settings:
As you can see in the help article:
Export Select Many questions as …: This option allows you to choose how you want “Select Many” questions to be exported. You can choose to export them as:
Single and separate columns: This is the default setting that will export a column with all the selected options in the “Select Many” question, as well as separate columns for each response.
Separate columns: Each response in the “Select Many” question will be exported into separate columns.
Single column: Selected responses in the “Select Many” question will be exported into a single column.
In the separate columns, the value 1 means the option was selected, while 0 means the respondent did not pick the option.
Take a look at the help article and play with your export settings to see if you can achieve the outcome you desire.
