Using an API - getting "Groups of user permissions"

Dear all,
My company is working since a few years with Kobo and we have strongly integrated our data ecosystem with the Kobo ecosystem.

Recently we had a new need to make “Groups” of users and to get them using an API.

The issue is that we are having difficulties to get the “users” and their “permissions” through an API, and moreover it seems difficult to keep the “Groups of users” including the “Groups of permissions”.

Did anyone already had the opportunity to tackle a similar problem?
