I have created a survey with a linked CSV file that retrieves the population based on the postal code. The search within the linked table works fine in the form, but when I deploy the form on the tablet, that question doesn’t work. Do I need to upload the CSV file to the tablet in some way?
Welcome to the community, @uso_publico! If you are using a CSV file you will need to upload the same under SETTINGS>Media as shown in the image below:
If you have already uploaded the same there, you will not need to upload your CSV file to the app separately.
It’s not working for me, but I think I didn’t explain myself well. In the Web form, where I’m testing it, it works correctly. When I enter the postal code, it retrieves the associated information from the CSV file I uploaded to the server. The problem occurs when I download the form to the tablet. There, I can’t get it to perform the lookup in the auxiliary table, and perhaps it doesn’t have the connection or access to the CSV file. I’ve checked the device’s folder and can see the CSV file, but when filling out the survey, the information doesn’t appear. Can I send you the file to check if I’ve made any mistake?
@uso_publico, it could be your CSV file’s formatting issue. Would you mind sharing with us a sample of your CSV file? Maybe delete the original information and fit in some dummy data in the CSV file that you wish to share with us?
