Works only on WiFi not cellular data

I created a QR code for my form, only worked if i am on a WiFi, does not work on any cellular data . it gives a massage 'safari can’t open , server can’t be found.

Welcome to the community, @ramroom! If you are collecting data with Enketo, aka the webform, could you try using modern browsers like the Chrome, Edge, Firefox, etc., to see if that solves your issue?

thank you, I’ve tried with all, they don’t work, only WiFi, but when I use VPN, it worked. does it mean that the server was blocked from my country, Jordan?. can I use any other server? if yes how?

  1. App or Site Restriction
Some apps or sites may be blocked on mobile data for privacy or regional reasons.

Fix: Check app settings or try using a VPN to bypass restrictions.

:wrench: 2. Data Saver or Restriction Settings
Your phone may have Data Saver on, blocking background/data-heavy apps.

Fix (Android): Settings > Network > Data Saver → turn off.

Fix (iPhone): Settings > Cellular > App list → ensure the app is allowed on cellular.

:wrench: 3. Incorrect APN or Network Settings
Your Access Point Name (APN) might be misconfigured.

Fix: Check with your carrier and reset mobile network settings.

:wrench: 4. Firewall/VPN Issues
Firewalls or VPNs may block cellular connections.

Fix: Disable VPN or firewall, and test again.

:wrench: 5. Server or App Restricting Mobile Access
Some services restrict access on mobile networks for security.

Fix: Contact support or check developer logs.
