I develop a lot of XLSForms in Google Sheets, and I thought “What if there was a tool that looks like a Spreadsheet but has the features specific to creating XLSForms”? So, I just made a free web app I am calling XLSFormBuilder where you can create forms with the “full” XLSForm spec - and you can generate and edit forms with AI as well . You can try it out on https://xlsformbuilder.com. It’s work in progress, so I am looking forward to your feedback.
i have visited the page. It is so easy to use an intuitive. This will be very usefull for all
Wish you All the best; i have bookmarked the page
Hi, there is an ODK template offering a lot of support for XLSForms, see ODK XLSForm Template - Releases - ODK Forum .
This is very good and helpful sir.
Please, can you do a video guide on how to use it for non-expert users like us?
Thank you.
Thank you for your feedback @governalert . I will certainly add some form of documentation videos. For now, kindly refer to the xlsform docs on https://support.kobotoolbox.org, or https://xlsform.org, or https://docs.getodk.org/.
@wroos the template is actually such a useful resource, and it was actually my secondary reference when making the web app (after the xlsform docs on the odk, kobo, and xlsform.org support sites). But I am trying to add features that I believe could add more value beyond what’s already possible using spreadsheets. For example, on the web app, you can now generate any kind of logic and calculations by just describing it and clicking the AI button - which should be useful for beginners.
