Hi all, based on below link, I am trying to get the data from Kobo to excel using query so I can refresh when I need instead of re-donwloading the data. It worked for projects with less #of submissions but it gives “Timedout error” in projects with more submissions. Any help please? I use the global server. Thanks

Hi @rahmat, How many submissions do you have any in the form, would it be more than 30.000?

Yes, way more than 30,000. will be reaching 200K today and going forward. The number of columns will be around 120

So the problem is if your data is more than 30000, kobo connection time out without downloading the data to excel. So there is a work around by the limiting the the total number of submissions for each connection. You can check the topics below

Hi İ am connecting KoBoTollbox to Power Bi with a project has 250,000 rows throgh the next Api: https://kc.humanitarianresponse.info/api/v1/data/XXXX?format=csv where XXXX is the id of the project … is there are any way to retrieve all the rows to make LİVE analyse via Power bi NOTE: İ want to link them cloud NOT locally so İ doN’T want to download the XLS file locally because İ have adjusted Power Bİ to refresh the data cloudy every 1 hour

Dear @osmanburcu Thank you for support! Im just trying to connect power bi directly to kobo to avoid excel and other programs. As Im having 600+ new submissions per day. Also, I want to make it reltime data. Are you connecting this big dataset directly to power bi?
