Distribution of survey forms

Hello, I am a user of Kobo toolbox. I used it for my past 2 surveys. i have two questions. Now i already prepared a form for my students to collect data and submit filled forms using mobile phones. I wanted to give them URL but I do not want them to have access to my other projects. (1) Is there any way that i can make the form available so that they can get the blank form, fill them and send field forms. (2) Can i create second account?

• Create an enumerator’s account (solely that will handle this specific project).
• Share your project from the admin account to the enumerator’s account with Add Submissions Permissions.
• You can now share the project login configuration from that enumerator’s account with your team.

An admin account is an account from which you have deployed your survey project. Create a separate enumerator account. The best option will be if the enumerators create an account for themselves. Hello @Kal_Lam how are you? I have gone through your post and this is what I think.

1. Yes, you can share the form without giving access to your other projects. Just deploy the form, then go to the “Collect” tab and copy the Web Form URL. Share that link with your students — they’ll be able to open, fill, and submit the form, but won’t see your account or other projects. If you’re using the KoboCollect app instead, you can give them the server settings and credentials for a data collector role, so they only see that form.

2. Yes, you can definitely create a second Kobo account if needed. Many people do this to separate personal projects from public data collection. Just use a different email address. You can also share the form between accounts using the “Share” feature to assign roles and control access.

Additional to previous recent response, my team will use mobile phones. Which is the server setting, is this the shareable link which pop out when i click on sharing? Which link will i collect the submitted filled forms using the first option?

Hello

I have three points to discuss

1. I could not collect / download my blank form to collect data using my mobile from my first and second account. The form was already deployed. Only some of my older projects have showed up in the list. Grateful if you could provide advice

2. I successfully created a second kobo toolbox account and realize that the second account is still using my first URL. Is this correct? Do i need to create a new URL ? I thought i would use the URL of the second account for my team to access the form, i am new with this application

3. I tried the access the form by URL without a kobotool box account for my team members. The form can be successfully accessed /open through the URL by the desktop but it is not accessed using mobile phones. Your advice on these points will be very much appreciated.
