Export failed<Downloads<Data

I couldn’t export xls/csv from the downloads under Data tab. This is is the first time I’m facing this kind of challenge. We already have received around 150 submissions from very remote areas and need the data ASAP. What is the solution.

@mealspmmr, when I quickly checked your project, I could see a couple of issues in it. Don’t know whether that is what is breaking your download. But would like to list it out here so that you could make improvements to the project:

• I could see issues with your translations. FYR …
  
  You could fix this by following these support articles:
  – Adding Another Language in the Project Dashboard
  – Adding Another Language to your XLSForm

• I could see 1 choice in your choices tab with list_name-vt that has 2966 choices. When the choices are large, you will need to use an external CSV file or the system may timeout when you try to download your dataset (when your dataset gets larger and larger).

  The name column header should not have spaces and special characters.

Cascading Limitation

@dimesh, seems like you have a lot of choices in your cascading select option. Please be informed that in such cases you will need to use the external CSV to list the choices. You could overcome this limitation as outlined in the post discussed previously (using the select_one_from_file question type): Alternatively, you could also overcome this issue by using the select_one_external question type as outlined in the post discussed previously:

Though you are not able to download your dataset as XLS file format, I can confirm that you should be able to download your dataset in XLS (legacy) file format.
