I couldn’t export xls/csv from the downloads under Data tab. This is is the first time I’m facing this kind of challenge. We already have received around 150 submissions from very remote areas and need the data ASAP. What is the solution.

@mealspmmr, when I quickly checked your project, I could see a couple of issues in it. Don’t know whether that is what is breaking your download. But would like to list it out here so that you could make improvements to the project:

I could see issues with your translations. FYR …
You could fix this by following these support articles:

I could see 1 choice in your choices tab with
list_name
-vt
that has2966
choices. When the choices are large, you will need to use an external CSV file or the system may timeout when you try to download your dataset (when your dataset gets larger and larger). -

Though you are not able to download your dataset as XLS file format, I can confirm that you should be able to download your dataset in XLS (legacy) file format.
