Fetching data error

I have one issue when 88 data collected from my study area by Global kobotoolbox website and save draft ,after that i tried to finalize the data the message appear fetching usage data error and also the daft changed to from 88 to 0 .

During data collection i reached 88 data then this 88 changed to zero that you see the place in the photo 4 ,is there any method i can get the 88 data .this 4 indicate now start collection again and reached 4.

Hi @ameha556931,
The change of the number in the top-left corner of your form from 88 to 4 is actually good news.
This indicates that the data stored locally in your browser has been successfully sent to our KoboToolbox server.
One question: are you the owner of the project? If so, please log in to the server using your credentials and check the Data tab to see whether your submitted records are available there.
If you are not the project owner, please ask the project owner to log in and check the Data tab to confirm that the records have been received by the server.

I m the owner of the project i confirm 88 data not transferred from save draft to data tab because the number not changed from previous existing data presented in data tab

Cookies and site data what it mean this site data ? is it my collected data and where stored ?

May I confirm whether you cleared your browser cache while your data were still stored locally?

When your data are still stored in the browser, you should never clear the browser cache. Doing so permanently wipes all information saved locally, and this data cannot be recovered.

what it mean site data ? From where i fetching this data?

“Site data” is something your browser stores locally (cookies, session info, small cached files). It is not your KoBoToolbox project data.

The list of projects you see in KoBoToolbox is fetched directly from the KoBoToolbox servers after you log in. The browser only keeps a small amount of information to help you stay logged in and load the site faster.

To look into your case more closely, would you mind sharing the following information with me through a private message:

  • Username
  • Project name
  • Server
